Manoir La Sainte sits in the south of the beautiful natural region of ‘La Bouriane’, on the border of the departments Lot and Dordogne. Around the property an undulating forest, surrounded by ancient oaks. This very authentic and impressive country house was built in 1802.
Next to the Manoir lies gîte La Sentinelle; a beautiful location to spend a wonderful holAu iday.
At walking distance you’ll find the small village of Frayssinet-le-Gélat with its medieval church, a traditional bakery Au Soleil d’Oc (the best in the region), the open air restaurant Au Plan d’O (at the little lake opposite La Sainte) and the mini-supermarket Au Panier Villeageois (with very nice and local products).
The local Plan d’Eau, a little lake opposite La Sainte, is ideal for swimming in natural water. There is a small beach and fishing is allowed (permit required).
In summer there is a cosy open air restaurant.
In short: a great start of your holidays.
